A new generation of rear-view technology for commercial vehicles
The new Ford F-Max features a next-generation Digital Camera Monitoring System (CMS), homologated according to UNECE Regulation No. 46. This technology replaces conventional exterior rear-view mirrors with a set of cameras and displays, providing the driver with an optimized rear and lateral view.
Behind this technological evolution lies a system combining embedded electronics, image processing and real-time software, designed to meet the particularly demanding requirements of commercial vehicles. SeaSideTech contributed to the development of this solution, bringing its expertise in embedded electronics, software and digital rear-view system integration.
This achievement demonstrates SeaSideTech’s expertise in the development of complex electronic and software systems for automotive applications, from development through to system integration and validation.
